Hello.
My name is Mr. Graham. I am your student’s math teacher at Roxborough High School. I am writing to inform you that your student engaged in either off-task or disruptive classroom behavior at some point in the last week, and rebuffed my efforts to redirect the offending behavior. Although this is an automated message, its deployment is manually triggered. If you have received this message multiple times, it is because your student has been found in repeated violation.
Our expectation is that students remain on-task in the classroom, and refrain from engaging in disruptive behavior. Your student did not meet this expectation. Please discuss the with your student the importance of remaining on-task in the classroom, and take any other action you feel is prudent to prevent your student from committing further violations.
Parent contact is the second tier consequence for off-task behavior and classroom disruption. Future consequences may include after school detention, mandatory parent conference, and restoration room with school-based community service.

Our expectation is that students arrive to class on time and that they remain in the classroom for the period, except when a hall pass is obtained pursuant to established classroom procedures. Your student did not meet this expectation. Please discuss the lateness and elopement policy with your student, and take any other action you feel is prudent to prevent your student from committing further violations.

Hello.
My name is Mr. Graham. I am your student’s math teacher at Roxborough High School. I am writing to inform you that your student was found in violation of the school’s cell phone policy at some point during the past week. Although this is an automated message, its deployment is manually triggered. If you have received this message multiple times, it is because your student has been found in repeated violation.
Our expectation is that students surrender any cell phone they bring to school into a locked box located in each classroom at the beginning of each class period. Your student was found in possession of a cell phone during class despite the expectation.
Please discuss the cell phone policy with your student, and take any other action you feel is prudent to prevent your student from committing further violations of the cell phone policy. Please note that the cell phone policy applies also to tablets, earbuds, and headphones. The only electronic devices that students are permitted in class under the policy are their District-issued Chromebooks.
Parent contact is the second tier consequence for violation of cell phone policy. This means that your student failed to heed an in-class warning and invitation to surrender cell-phones, with amnesty having been offered to those who surrender. Future consequences may include after school detention, mandatory parent conference, and restoration room with school-based community service.
