Notice of Off-Task and/or Disruptive Student Behavior

Hello.

My name is Mr. Graham. I am your student’s math teacher at Roxborough High School. I am writing to inform you that your student engaged in either off-task or disruptive classroom behavior at some point in the last week, and rebuffed my efforts to redirect the offending behavior. Although this is an automated message, its deployment is manually triggered. If you have received this message multiple times, it is because your student has been found in repeated violation.

Our expectation is that students remain on-task in the classroom, and refrain from engaging in disruptive behavior. Your student did not meet this expectation. Please discuss the with your student the importance of remaining on-task in the classroom, and take any other action you feel is prudent to prevent your student from committing further violations.

Parent contact is the second tier consequence for off-task behavior and classroom disruption. Future consequences may include after school detention, mandatory parent conference, and restoration room with school-based community service.
